The Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Woodrow Wilson. All opinions are 100% mine.

Did you know that the Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship offers recent college graduate the opportunity to pursue an intensive master’s degree program at one of fourteen participating universities? Each participant also receives a $30,000 stipend to help them complete the degree! So who can apply for the Fellowship?

A successful candidate will: Have completed an undergraduate degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) field by June 2011 with a GPA of at least 3.0. The candidate must also demonstrate a commitment to the program and its goals! If this sounds like you then you should visit www.wwteachingfellowship.org for more information about the application process.

If accepted in the program a Fellow will be able to complete a field-based master’s degree in teacher education.  While in the program a Fellow will receive intense support and mentoring in the classroom.  A Fellow must also commit to teach in a high need school for three years because the goal of the program is to recruit, prepare and retain effective teachers for the students and schools who need them most.

For more information or to fill out an application, please visit: http://www.wwteachingfellowship.org.  What are you waiting for?  Apply now!

Their catch phrase says it all!  Change the World by Changing Theirs. Become a Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellow!
