Sometimes life looks one way when in all actuality it turns out to be something totally different! When my son was born 16 years ago, I had so many hopes and dreams for his future and now that he is older those hopes and dreams of mine don't necessarily fit what he wants for his life. I am at that point where I need to let go and let him make his own mistakes and chose his own path in life.
Don't get me wrong, I still voice my opinion and try to give him some guidance but ultimately the choice is his and not mine. As parents, there is only so much that we can do for our kids and then we are "relieved" of our duties much sooner than we might like. I knew that the time would come, however, I did not think it would be so soon!
I have to let God deal with Zach and his hard heart! It is something that mommy cannot kiss and make all better but I can pray for him. Keep him in your prayers too because he needs all he can get.
Today's photos are of coffee beans! I don't like coffee, but I do like lattes and cappucinos from Starbucks (guilty pleasure). These photos remind me that what you see in the beginning is not always the end result. I could not decide if I like the color or the black and white better, maybe you can let me know which you prefer by leaving me a comment!
