It Is Finally Done!

Here is the long awaited picture of my hubby's completed motorcycle! This three plus year project is finally coming to an end! I have to admit that it is kind of nice to see his creation roar to life and know that he did all the work with his own two hands and I do mean all the work! He made the frame and the handlebars and the gas tank and the paint job is all his too! He is a very talented guy, there is really nothing he can't do when it comes to working with his hands! He is a carpenter, a wood worker, a welder, a painter and so much more! The only thing that is "stock" on this bike is the motor! Can you tell that I am so proud of him! The second photo is the love of my life lost in thought looking at his creation! He had no clue that I even captured this moment! I just love it when that happens! I hope to capture a photo of him on the beast soon! The bottom photo is, of course me! It is a self portrait that has been turned in to a pencil drawing. I just wanted to share with you cause I thought it was kind of cool!

I ♥ Faces!

I ♥ Faces is a cool place for photographers to hang out! There are weekly themes for each contest and lots of cool tips and tricks! I fell in love with the site because it really is all about faces! I don't care if I win or not! It is fun to be in the company of others who also love photography!

For my bloggy buddies an explanation of today's photos: The top two are of course, Zach mugging for the camera! I asked him to smile and this is what I got! I took a few more of him but they were all just as goofy as the first one! Gotta love him when he says, "hey, great MySpace picture"! Not the look I was going for but I thought the crop was perfect with the face he made!

The next two are Sadie in the garage with daddy working on the motorcycle. You will notice that picture one and two are alike and three and four are alike. I cropped the second photo of Sadie to get rid of the motorcycle gear! That is because the assignment for I ♥ Faces this week is creative crop so that's what I did!

Not Me! Monday

It was NOT me who flipped out when greeted at the door on Saturday by the teen in the house telling me he had NOT let one of his 3 pet rats escape during bath time! It was also NOT me who let the dogs (beagle & pit bull) out to find said escapee!

It was NOT me who watched very carefully as she was cleaning and doing laundry and it certainly was NOT me who was prepared to squish the little creature if she showed her beady little eyes. It was also NOT me who laughed hysterically when dear hubby found said escapee in the towel cabinet when he was getting ready to shower last night!

It was NOT me who was taking pictures of hubby's new motorcycle creation and stepped in a hole that I had NOT seen a million times! It was then NOT me who fell flat on my bootie! It really was NOT me who laughed so hard at herself the she did NOT pee her pants!
