Jill Horst & family

I am happy to say that I am done with the photos of the Horst family despite my bout with the stomach bug that bit me 6 hours after I took these pictures.

Jackson who is 2 months old was, without a doubt, my toughest challenge to date! The little ones can only handle so much and then they are done and they let you know it in no uncertain terms. I had to laugh because at the end of the first session for Jackson only his Mommy, Jill, was trying to console the naked little cutie when he just opened up and peed right on her chin! Keep in mind that we still had not taken the family photos yet and Jill had no other brown shirt to change into! The only thing that would have made it funnier is if I caught it on camera, but I was laughing way too hard to hold still long enough, believe me it was a classic moment!

I have known Millie, Jill's mom for several years through my music. She is a very talented musician and I was delighted to photograph the family, especially since Jill's brother is a Marine and is deployed frequently (I feel your pain). I would like to thank Millie & Bo for allowing me to capture this precious moment with the whole family together. Enjoy the photos and please let me know what you think!
