Yesterday morning we awoke to the first snow of the season! I am always as giddy as a schoolgirl when the first snow arrives, I can't help it! I love that pristine white snow that makes everything seem clean and new and even more, I love that this is the first snow that Sadie is old enough to get out and play in! When she saw it the first word out of her mouth was snowman! We couldn't go out and play, however, because we had to get ready for church. She was not amused but I quickly diverted her with thoughts of playing with her little friends in the nursery.
Church was wonderful complete with choir and a bagpipe player! When we left I was really in the Christmas mood. Our friend Rick gave Sadie a snowball to throw at me but, again, she thought it was a snowman and decided to hang on to it on the way to lunch. Before we arrived at the Steak and Shake parking lot I heard her say "Where snowman go?"! I knew where he went, he melted! She was temporarily distraught again but easily diverted with lunch complete with her own milkshake! All was again right in her world!
The photos above are some of the trees that line our street! I just love how the snow sat on each branch!

Wow, I can feel the cold already but it's actually 35degrees celcius outside now in my country!
You take beautiful picures.
Oooh, snow and bagpipes--two favorites of mine! I love the photos and the story. Always nice to visit your blog!
