We found out this week that my father-in-law has about a year, give or take. It is really hard to go through this again since I went through this with my sister. I know what is in store and I know that it will not be an easy road for any of us. It stinks but it is a fact of life that we all have to face this at some point in our lives. That is just part of this crazy train ride called life.
I am prepared to be the strong one since I have been in this boat before. I am ready for what comes my way and I know that my faith will keep me strong through all of this! Keep the family in your prayers because we are going to need it in the months ahead.
On a happy note, I took some photos that were inspired by Jenera at Jenera Healy Photos. This is the ceiling fan from my front porch. I decided to show it in color, black and white and sepia to show how different the object looks when presented in three different ways.

Oh dear. I'm sorry to hear that, Jo. I will pray that he doesn't suffer too long or too hard. Perhaps a miracle thrown in there too? My neighbor/friend was just diagnosed too, and I don't give him long--it is heartbreaking to say the least. At least you have the time to say what you want to say. I'm sending you strength vibes.....
Hi Jo.
Hang in there. I going through this stuff with my parents too.
I pray that you all have strength through this time. I am sorry this is happening, but you have the right attitude. I am sorry to hear this.
The pictures, as usual, are lovely.
