I was looking for a baby picture for my sister, Debbie and thought I would share some of my favorite pictures of me when I was Sadie's age (1970)!
It is so funny how a picture can stir such emotion in people! I guess that is why we find them so important in our lives! I have a huge tub of pictures that I got after my Mom passed away and I love to just sit and look at them and remember days gone by. These are days that I will never have again but I can look at the old photos and see the story of my life unfold!
Take some time today to go through your old photos and PLEASE make sure that you share them with your children so they know their history! Also make sure to label the photos so when you pass them to the next generation, they will know who the people in the photos were and what part they played in your life and their lives.
The first photo is of me with my favorite cousin, Steve. We were only a year a part and remained close until marriage and mileage separated us. Photo number two is me trying to be a big girl, not sure who the undies belonged to perhaps my Mom or one of my teenage sisters (Deb any clue?). The last photo is my favorite one that was taken of me with my Grandpa Naab and my favorite yellow blankie. Grandpa did not live close and I always remember looking forward to his visits.

Geesh! Those are some GIANT underpants you got there! Hee! Hee! I'm always going through the photos and having some laughs. Em and I went through hers just the other day, she needed one for her yearbook. I'm going to have to post some of the corkers.
P.S. You were very cute! Love the one with you and your grandpa!
Ha- Why are pictures from that era always golden and green looking? Must have been the shag carpeting.
What wonderful memories. I bet your glad to have all these wonderful photo's. I've recently inherited my grandparents photo's from 1914 thru the early 80's. Wow, how I love these old pictures. Looks like you and I are around the same age. I remember those 70's styles. Yuck! LOL.
Oh how sweet!! Another great post for this week's Family FotoFun Friday! Please enter!
