If there is one thing that will drive my husband to the brink of insanity it is a burning candle! He hates them with a passion! He always wants to blow them out before I am ready and I have to say that it irritates me just a bit!! Anyway, after photographing the light trails, I decided I would try some photos of my candles and when he saw me moving them to the dining room table, he said "don't burn the house down"! As if I would do that on purpose!
This is the man who unplugs Glade plug-ins and small appliances. He once unplugged my crock pot with our dinner still in it cooking!! I am surprised that he does not unplug the stove, fridge, the computer and the TV every night!
We affectionately call him the "safety police" because he checks the house from top to bottom every night before we go to bed! Seriously, he starts upstairs and works his way to the basement! If he gets in bed and has forgotten something, he will get up to check it out! I love him though because he cares enough to keep us safe!!
The photos above are some of the photos from the candle shoot!

Hee! Hee! My husband is just like that! Except he leaves the lights on everywhere and I follow behind HIM clicking them off. Joe is the "lock master" locking us in every night too. Aren't they quirkly?
I like the last photo a ton. Do you ever turn your photos into notecards? I have some I made with my kitty on them and I find myself using them more because of it.
Oh please.
If it doesn't have the ESPN seal of approval on it- they do not get it.
That's so funny about your hubby. At least you guys know your safe with him around. LOL!! Love the pictures. My favorite it the last one. Beautiful!
As the wife of a 'safety officer' myself, I can totally relate to this! He hates plug-ins and really hates curling irons! I agree it's nice to know he's looking out for our safety, but it's frustrating at times. :)
Thanks for visiting my blog http://givingtree2009.blogspot.com/ and for your kind words of encouragement! I especially appreciate your prayers!!!!
Excellent shots! You must have really challenged yourself here, :-). Evening shots is one of the hardest.
