I know that Diana, Lin and Harriet all think that I am off my rocker when I whine about not getting enough snow but it really is true! Even though we live in the same state, I have gotten much less snow than they have. I hear tell it has something to do with the I 74 corridor or something like that.
While I got the snow, I still did not get to go get the shots because it was too chilly to take the baby out and my teen had other plans for his day off that did not include watching his little sis. I did get to step out the front door and get some cool shots but I also wanted to try some of Zach's water shots and got totally different results than he did which is great!
Some prayer requests that I hope you all will keep in your prayers:
1. Larry - My husband's Dad was just diagnosed with lung cancer and an aggressive bone cancer. We will find out prognosis and treatment options on Thursday.
2. Dale - My Brother-in-law is recovering from having a stint put in after they discovered 95% blockage in an artery.
3. Our nations as we transition our power to Obama.
I had lots of fun with the water shots. I used my Nikon D60 and no shot has been altered except to add my by line.

I'm starting on the prayers already.
Oh, I've got the prayers covered here.
I'm glad that you finally got some snow of your own! My family actually got out this weekend to go sledding and I felt bad I couldn't go! I do like the snow too.
LOVE the water droplets! Did you use the manual setting to get those or did you do your own? I really have to get to know my D60 better.

thanks!
Love the water shots.
Will do on the prayers!
Such pretty pictures!
Just love the water shots. I went last night to look at the D60 at Circuit City. I thought I'd get a good deal due to them going out of business. No such luck. I'll have to check back next week for lower prices. I'm so sorry to hear about your sad news regarding your father in-law and brother in-law. It's so hard when family is sick. My mother in-law passed away 5 years ago from lymphoma. She was only 59. It was quick and we are still traumatized about it. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Take care my friend.
Awesome pictures, really!!
I'm happy to pray for your loved ones, and for this country we all love.
My prayers are with your family. That's a lot to endure.
I am glad you got your snow because now we get to enjoy your pictures.
