OH yes I have! I was checking email only to find one today from Entrecard saying that I was being warned for having music on my site! So now they can tell me I cannot have MY music on MY site! MMMMM, sounds a lot like censorship to me! I deleted the music but I think this may be the very last Entrecard straw for me! I have not been dropping or advertising and I really don't care to at this point!! I do continue to visit sites, I am just not an active ECer at this point! What is your thought? Has EC gone too far in not allowing us to have music on our site?

What does music have to do with EC dropping? Why should they care at all?
I so don't miss it!
I'm with Violet on that--what does your site have to do with them?? What about all those other sites that drop on me only to be a link to a business with no EC box at all? They are screwed up, aren't they?
I think they have issue with music that automatically begins playing when a site opens. If you have a post where you have to click "play", that shouldn't break the rules. And if it did break the rules, how many people would get busted for Music Mondays?
They just want to rule the world . . .
Hmmm?? IDK... I've heard there are a lot of changes going on over there, but I never thought something like that would happen. It's not any of their business. They don't pay you and it's not their blog. SIGH... have their terms and conditions been updating to include that. If not then they shouldn't be allowed to do that.
If you are using this blog to promote your own business then it is innapropriate to use other people's copywrited work to promote yourself. It's sort of like someone else stealing a photo of yours and using it in their advertisement or billboard without your permission. Photographers are suppossed to use rolalty free sites for their music unless they have written permission from the artist who's song you want to use. HTH!
I want you all to know (and those who know me already know) I went through the proper channel and used a site designed for use on blogs where the artists were properly credited for their beautiful work! The problem was the auto play feature that Entrecard said was distracting readers.
